Dear Senator Kelly, May 22 2024 Reflections this day of 71 years and 2 months of solar cycles Reading I have learned that war in the geographical area known as The Levant has from recorded history to present passed from tribal conflicts, to geopolitical conflicts involving then kingdoms of Egypt, and Persia, and Rome. Moving on to the fall of Rome and the Ottoman Empire which ruling up until the end of WW I. , at which point an overly optimistic League of Nations sought to create, out of thin air, new national boundaries for the peoples of the Levant. The resulting Holocausts' of death and bloodshed are what have occurred when "well meaning" outsiders decided the fate of people beyond their own borders. Or perhaps I should say, when those outsiders failed to meet the commitment of following through to completion the decision to intervene in the fate of people beyond their own borders.
